Lara Lehman

Lara Lehman is a former educator from the United States where she has taught creative writing, American literature, and teaching methods at the secondary and post-secondary levels. Before teaching, she spent time acting as well as adapting novels for staged productions, an enduring passion of hers. Lara is now living her best life as a freelance writer on the West Coast in lovely southern California. She has published poetry in The Amethyst Review and The Bluebird Word, essays on the craft of writing in The Writer’s Chronicle, Teachers & Writers Magazine, and The Artisanal Writer as well as personal creative nonfiction in diverse journals. In addition, Lara reads for the editorial staff of Broad Ripple Review. She is currently working on a novel of literary, historical fiction about the Salem Witch Trials.
