About

I'm Rachel, I'm currently in the final year of my PhD at UCL. I returned to the world of academia in 2019 (having originally studied chemistry many years ago) to study part-time for an MSc in Behaviour Change at the Centre for Behaviour Change within UCL, whilst working for a charity. I loved this so much that I decided to have a complete career change, hence starting my PhD in 2022! My research focuses on involving young people in mental health research but I'm also interested in how young people use digital mental health services and in all aspects of EDI and how identity shapes experiences.
