I’m Caroline, an MSc graduate in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London, now aiming to become a clinical psychologist. I’m fascinated by how emotions, thoughts, and psychological processes are rooted in the brain and intertwined with the whole body. When I’m not analysing the world around me (or quietly navigating the classic quarter-life crisis) I love writing, reading, taking photos, petting every dog I meet, travelling, and chatting with friends over far too many cups of coffee.

Nostalgia: Aching for the Ordinary
How nostalgia makes us yearn for our own memories. Time moves forward whether we follow it or not. Nostalgia, however, waits.It lingers in old songs, in familiar streets, in the scent of a season or a person we thought we had forgotten. And when it finally returns, it pulls us gently, and sometimes painfully, back into a moment we can no longer touch.
