About
I am currently in my final few months of qualifying as an Occupational Therapist at St George’s University of London. Having previously worked in the healthcare sector in pharmacy, both for the NHS and privately. I am keen to support and empower people, to live a fulfilled life by seeing beyond their limitations and medical conditions.
I recently completed a placement on the SHAPER programme with the King’s College London research team, which aims to evaluate a community-based performance arts programme for stroke survivors. I have a profound interest in research which involves linking occupational therapy to people, medical conditions and the benefits on health and well-being.
I am an arts and photography enthusiast, which means I largely spend my leisure time taking photographs. This is my first of hopefully many more blogs, to share my experiences of capturing images of today’s world, which I use to story-tell, inspire and evoke emotions for the viewer.
