About
Rebecca is a musician, writer, and visual artist, constantly striving to find ways to express what goes on inside her head in a way that she hopes may help others to understand their own.
As a violinist, Rebecca has played with all of the UK's leading period instrument orchestras and in 2017 was awarded a Katherine McGillivray Get a Life Fund, which enabled her to take time out to study the life and work of the French-American artist Louise Bourgeois, alongside developing her own work as both visual artist and writer.
As well as teaching, Rebecca works at Cambridge Junction with young people with complex needs and is a facilitator for the international initiative Mothers Who Make - a peer support group for all those balancing the dual roles of mother and maker.
Alongside this, Rebecca writes a blog about art, mental health and living with chronic illness.
