Paul Linggood

Paul Linggood was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire in 1988. He left school at 16 and started a career as a painter and decorator.

At the age of 24 his direction changed. He went to college and gained access to University, then studied at Anglia Ruskin and gained a 2.1 BA Honours in English Literature and a 1st class mark in Creative Writing MA. This was followed by a career as an English teacher in Further Education.

His first novel, Just a Small Town, was published in 2020. He uses his fiction to explore serious issues, such as poverty, addiction, homelessness and mental health.

He lives with his wife and two children.
