About
I work at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London within the Eating Disorders Group.
I work with clinical populations at extreme ends of the weight spectrum: individuals with Anorexia Nervosa and individuals due to undergo Bariatric Surgery. I want to understand more about the relationship between mental and physical health, and the reasons why people under-eat and over-eat.
Scientific papers can be difficult to interpret, and this is a problem that we as scientists need to address. In my writing for the InSPIre the Mind blog, I hope to portray the latest advances in psychological research in a more accessible and digestible format.
