Dr Daniel Martins

Dr. Daniel Martins is a clinical researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. His work explores neurobiological mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric symptoms and potential new interventions in mental health, using tools from neuroimaging, molecular biology, and computational modelling. With clinical and research experience across Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, he is particularly interested in translating complex neuroscience into new ways of understanding psychiatric symptoms—and into care that feels more human and equitable.
