Grace Gatera

Grace Gatera is a lived experience, youth mental health advocate, living in Kigali, Rwanda. She serves as a Strategic Advisory Board Member for the Wellcome Trust, and is a young leader for My Mind Our Humanity, a youth campaign for the Lancet Commission on Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development. Grace strongly believes in youth access to specialized and quality mental health care and medication, as well as their involvement in high level policy and decision making involving MH. As a young leader, she has spoken at the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in London, Leading Minds Conference in Italy and at the 2019 and 2020 NCD Global Forums, in Sharjah, UAE.
