About
My name is Seyi (pronounced Shay-ee) and I am a research assistant at SPI Lab and new writer for Inspire the Mind!
Before joining the lab, I completed a masters in Cognitive Neuroscience at King's College London. I am particularly interested in how creative interventions such as art can be used to encourage mental wellbeing throughout life. Working at SPI Lab has allowed me to see how arts in health can be leveraged for postnatal depression and understand risk factors that occur during the natal period. As a scientist and artist I love being part of work that transforms ideas into feasible and scalable programs that can help people.
