About

Natalie is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing, King’s College London and for projects using the South London and Maudsley Clinical Record Interactive Search (CRIS) System. Natalie works primarily on the DETERMIND study, investigating inequalities in care and outcomes following a dementia diagnosis. Natalie's research interests include improving access to post-diagnostic dementia support, addressing inequalities, developing psychometric measures, and supporting unpaid carers. 


Natalie has a strong interest in Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in Research and coordinates the DETERMIND Seldom Heard Voices PPIE group. She has spoken at public events and led participant involvement workshops. Natalie will soon be starting a PhD at Queen Mary University of London, co-developing a culturally sensitive measure of carer stress with South Asian communities.
