About
Hina Naela is a Research Assistant for the U-Belong Project at King’s College London. She recently graduated from KCL with a First Class Honors Degree in Psychology.
Her research interests are in student mental health, childhood experiences and development, lived experience research, and close relationships. In her undergraduate dissertation, she studied the impact of adverse and positive experiences on student mental health. Hina’s passion for research has inspired her to pursue a PhD. in the future and she is currently exploring topic areas for this purpose.
She is also interested in creative writing and expressing herself through prose and poetry. In 2020, she started her own personal blog, where she regularly uploads stories and articles. Mental health plays an important role in this work, because she draws on her knowledge of psychology and interpersonal relationships to craft her characters and articulate her introspections.
She hopes for a world where people can openly talk about and take care of their mental health
