About
My name is Maddy and I am a PhD student working at the Stress, Psychiatry and Immunology (SPI) Lab. I am also a writer and Editor for Inspire the Mind!
My research is focused on perinatal depression (depression during pregnancy and within one year after giving birth). I am particularly interested in the biological mechanisms of how depression during and after pregnancy can impact the development of the offspring, and how it can increase the risk for psychiatric disorders.
