About
After specialising in the field of stroke rehabilitation as an occupational therapist, I completed my PhD in Health Services Research at Kings College London. I then worked as a therapy manager in an acute NHS trust before moving into academia
I am now working as a senior lecturer in the Centre for Allied Health at St George’s University. This involves teaching occupational therapy students and preparing them for practice, collaborating with clinicians about developing professional practice, and carrying out research projects relating to rehabilitation. I am also training as a Cognitive Behaviour Hypnotherapist and linking this with my occupational therapy background.
I live in London with my partner and our cockerpoo. During lockdown I loved learning to appreciate what’s on my doorstep: walking my dog, observing nature changing around us, and sharing the experience (and baked goods!) with our neighbours.
