About
I'm Kiera, an MSc student in Psychology and Neuroscience: Mind-Body Interface at King's College London, aiming to pursue a career in clinical psychology. I'm particularly interested in women's health and well-being, especially maternal and perinatal mental health. As a placement student in the Stress, Psychiatry, and Immunology Lab within the Perinatal Psychiatry section, I'm interested in how biological and social factors influence women's psychological well-being.

The Hidden Impact of Football on Families
For many, football is a celebration. But for some families, match day can bring fear instead of excitement. During major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup or the European Championships, football often dominates conversations, social plans, and media coverage. Sport events for fanatics are a way to come together and support their favourite team, which creates a sense of unity, excitement, and shared identity. However, match days can bring anxiety and fear rather than enjoyment.
