About
Amélie Padfield is a freelance writer, currently living in Cornwall with her husband and her mischievous cat. She has previously been published in Mslexia and Mindset Magazine, and she writes from a lived-experience perspective, often on the themes of mental health and grief. She feels her purpose when writing is to bring more awareness to conditions that are misrepresented and not widely discussed.
As well as writing she loves walking, yoga, and playing the piano.
Recently, she completed an MA in Professional Writing and during the course she started to write a book on the realities of living with OCD.

Responsibility OCD Ruined My Life

But I also know that however painful and embarrassing this call is, it won’t be worse than living with the guilt of letting someone die.
