About
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmacology and Toxicology at The University of Texas at Austin with overarching interests in neurodevelopment, circadian biology, and neuroimmune interactions. My work focuses on how early disruptions in the developing brain can lead to mood and psychiatric disorders later in life. Before graduate school, I worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency investigating how early-life exposure to environmental pollutants affects neurodevelopment. I now study how the emergence of circadian rhythms in the brain shapes neuroinflammation.
