Lotte van Dammen

Dr. Lotte van Dammen is a third-year postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Human Development and Family Studies and the Virtual Reality Application Center at Iowa State University. Lotte is lab manager of the SPIT lab and Social Media Editor for ISPNE and the associated journals. She received her Ph.D. degree in Medical Sciences in 2018 from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Lotte is interested in the effect of stress on health outcomes and, in particular, how virtual environments can help us study the stress response. She supports Open Science and acknowledges the importance of sharing research findings with the general public.
