James Emrys

My name is James, I'm an engineering student with a passion for history, philosophy and politics. I believe that technology and the humanities can work together to create a better future. I've always found nature a haven to recharge my batteries - I love camping and, above all, cycling. Cycling is my favorite hobby, a way of connecting with the world around me and maintaining a balance between mind and body.

Today, I consider myself an extrovert and I love connecting people and ideas, but it wasn't always like this. I have faced social anxiety and, in overcoming it, I learned that courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision that connection matters more. My mission is to inspire others to find their voice, whether in a classroom, in a political debate or during a bike ride. After all, life is like a road: full of ups, downs and incredible landscapes worth exploring.
